Group FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q:

How many people make up a group?

A:
20 or more people going to the same performance typically makes up a group. There are exceptions, but unless otherwise stated, this is the standard.

Q:

When do I have to pay for my tickets?

A:
The payment process may vary from show to show.  Typically we ask for a 25% non-refundable deposit within two weeks of booking, and the remainder due 30 days weeks prior to opening night. Some exceptions can be made.

Q:

Who qualifies as a group?

A:
As long as your group meets the minimum number, you qualify as a group.

Q:

I'm booking my group before the tickets go on-sale to the general public, why can't I get the seats I want?

A:
For every Broadway Season show, we have thousands of Season Ticket Holders who are able to purchase additional tickets before the general public.  Our Season Specials give groups the best seating options.

Q:

When are the biggest discounts available for Broadway shows?

A:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday nights have the greatest discounts.

Q:

I bought tickets through a group, but the regular price is cheaper online. Why?

A:
We strive to give our groups the best pricing available, however, when booking tickets online, it is typical to see the ticket price before any fees are added. A $50 ticket can easily have a facility fee, convenience fee, printing fee and mailing fee sometimes totaling to more than $10. The prices we give you are the final price, and exactly what is printed on the ticket.

Q:

Do you have an elevator?

A:
We do not. Anyone who has a balcony ticket will need to climb stairs.

Q:

What about handicapped or other special needs seating?

A:
The Box Office has wheelchair seating on hold for every show at the Auditorium Theatre, and can be purchased with a group, depending on availability. Sign interpreted performances for Broadway Season shows are Thursday nights. Headsets are available at the Theatre on the night of the show for the hearing impaired. Lastly, we have visual descriptive services for Broadway Season shows on Sunday matinees for the visually impaired. If you or someone in your group has a need that does not match any of the services we offer, please contact us, and explain your situation . We will make every effort to accommodate your situation.
