Can I/How do I exchange my tickets?

General policy is no exchanges or refunds.

Broadway season ticket holders may exchange into a different performance of the same show. Please bring/mail your tickets to Ticket Express (885 E Main St., Rochester, New York 14605) with a written request for the new date, name, address, and daytime telephone number.

My tickets were supposed to have been mailed to me. Why I haven't gotten them yet?

As a general rule, we will not mail tickets within the two weeks prior to a performance. If you are unsure as to whether or not your tickets were mailed, contact the box office at (585) 222-5000 for details. Please have your show name, date, and confirmation number when you call.

When can I get a listing of next year's shows?

The schedule for the upcoming Broadway season shows are usually available in the early spring. Please check our web site or watch the newspapers for announcements.

How do I get season tickets?

Please contact patron services at (585) 222-5000 for information. Seating is limited; returning subscribers have first refusal rights on seats.

I purchased my tickets on the first day they went on sale! How come I'm all the way in the back, and my friend purchased tickets on the day of the show, and got better seats?

For Broadway shows, we have many season ticket holders who have early purchase opportunities.

Season ticket holders may also exchange their original seats for another performance, making their tickets available to someone else.

Many shows keep small blocks of seats on hold for their use. When they have decided what seats they will be using, the unused seats are released. Many times, this is well after the first day the tickets are available, often on the same day as the show.

When I call Ticketmaster, why can't they tell me about the theatre? Are they local?

Ticketmaster is a totally separate company from Ticket Express and the Rochester Broadway Theatre League. They operate strictly though telephone rooms in various parts of the world and walk-up outlets in various establishments such as Kaufmann's, connected to ticketing systems all over the U.S. They are not local and do not have immediate access to firsthand experience with a venue. They are only able to tell you what the best seating is available in the price range and level of the theatre that you choose. For more personalized ordering, visit Ticket Express at 885 E Main St., Rochester, NY.
