Warm Up
Each day of camp will begin with announcements followed by a 40-minute physical warm-up. The entire camp will be divided into four groups; Adam, Chris, Shanna and Steve will each lead a group. The warm up will cover flexibility, strength and stamina. Students should be prepared to experience yoga, Zumba and aerobic exercises, as well as ballet, jazz and modern techniques. We've nicknamed this part of our day the warrior warm-up. Bring it.

Voice and Movement

This class explores more basic corporeal techniques to strengthen the non-dancer's sense of physical awareness and confidence. You will connect movement, vocal and breath exercises, then work on musical numbers that illustrate those techniques.
Musical Theatre Dance, Tap and Rhythm section

A dance class that will feature working on theatre dance repertoire favoring a more rhythmic musical style. Please note: All students participating in this class must provide their own tap shoes.
Musical Theatre Dance, Jazz section

This advanced musical theatre class explores the essence of contemporary stage dancing through the Jazz techniques of Jack Cole and Bob Fosse.

Song Interpretation and Audition Technique

Enrollment for this advanced audition technique class is determined by the instructor. Most spots available to upper division only. Students who wish to petition for enrollment should indicate their interest on the questionnaire and be prepared to submit an audition, if required.
Improvisation

Students will explore various improvisation techniques and employ them in various scenarios, such as commercial audition technique; sketch comedy; and scenes that tie into the camp showcase theme.
Vocal Ensemble

Bob leads a discussion with one of our Master Teachers from New York City.
This hour is also set aside for Intern's Choice, an open hour for the assistants that can be used for rehearsal or other self-propelled activities.
