Rebekah Barringer. Received a B.A. in Communication with minors in Theatre and Management from Roberts Wesleyan College. She has extensive experience in all technical aspects of theatre. Groups she has worked with include Push Physical Theatre, Le Roy schools, Le Roy Christian Community Project, RWC Student Productions, Roberts Wesleyan College & Community Theatre, Gates Community Theatre, and the Batavia Players. Second year SOT judge and member of the SOT Steering Committee

Mary Campbell.
B.S. Music Education SUNY FREDONIA. Graduate hours SUNY Brockport Theater, Dance. M.S Elementary Education Arts for Children. Wrote children's book, directed and staged the musical presentation K-12 music education in Medina and Kendal. Elementary,Junior High, Senior High Musicals. Elementary, Junior High, Senior High Choruses, Select Groups, NYSSMA participants. Creator and Director of Junior and Senior High SHOW Choirs, Drama Clubs and community and student cabarets. Retired June 2007 after 33 years of teaching. Second year SOT judge.

Cori Colombo. Owner and Artistic Director of Strike It Up Artistic Center. AAS degree from Alfred State. Extensive dance experience. Has studied at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and Disney World. Worked at GEVA Theatre in a variety of capacities. Character and parade work at Disney World and dance instructor and choreographer for summer camp and local dance studios. Has danced in numerous musicals presented in the Rochester area. Member of Dance Rochester. Third year judge for SOT program.

Kathleen Coughlin. Retired Music teacher, Webster Central School District. B.M.E., Baldwin-Wallace College; M.S. Education, Nazareth College; C.A.S from SUNY Brockport. Previously an officer of NYSSMA and honored as an outstanding music educator by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Co-recipient of The League of American Theatre and Producers 2007 League Educator Apple Award. Eleventh year judge for SOT program and member of the SOT Steering Committee.

Kevin Coughlin. Retired Music teacher, Rochester City School District. B.M.E, Baldwin-Wallace College; M.S. Ed., University of Rochester. Previously an officer for NYSSMA. Also Past-President and Executive Director of the New York State Band Directors Association. Honored for excellence in teaching by the Rochester City School District and as an outstanding music educator by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Co-recipient of The League of American Theatre and Producers' 2007 League Educator Apple Award. Eleventh year judge for SOT program; member of the SOT Steering Committee and RBTL Education Committee.

Michael Krickmire. Lecturer and Production Manager, Department of Theatre, State University of New York College at Brockport. Former producing/artistic director Rochester Community Players; Executive Director Theatre Association of New York State; judge for 2000 Miss New York Pageant. Director of productions for Pittsford Musicals, Irondequoit Theatre Guild, JCC Center stage and many other local theatres. B.A.in Theatre from SUNY Brockport, M.A., Theatre, Western Illinois University; MFA in directing, Illinois State University. Steering Committee member. Eleventh year judge for SOT program.

Pam Marsocci. BA with Honors in Theatre Arts, Brandeis University. 35 years as director, educator, performer in professional, community, and educational settings. Team leader for projects with National Endowment of the Arts and Artist-in-the-Schools with the Tennessee Arts Commission, actress with The Colorado Educational Theatre, Associate Director of The Acting Studio in the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Locally lead roles and/or directing with Blackfriars, JCC Centerstage, Pittsford Musicals and Webster Theatre Guild. Drama Director for seven years at HFL High School and nine years for Pittsford Sutherland High School. Private Acting Coach.

Michael Meath. Twenty years of professional theatre experience. Studied Theatre Arts at Onondaga Community College. Currently serves as facilities manager for the American Red Cross. Artistic Director for Wakefield Players Guild and Geneseo Community Theatre. Senior Stage Operator – Production Services at Walt Disney World; Lighting Designer and Technical Director for regional theatres; adjunct faculty at College of Boca Raton; Production team for J F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; Production staff for numerous national tours. Directs at the Highlands Playhouse, Highlands, NC. Fourth year judge for SOT program

John Murphy. Bachelor of Music from Catholic University of America and M.A. in Performing Arts Administration from New York University. Director of Global Customer Relocation and Procurement for Genencor International. Extensive acting and directing experience with numerous theatrical organizations. Has served as musical director for a variety of productions. Fifth year judge for SOT program.

Linda Murphy. AA degree from Auburn Community College and further study at Marymount College in New York City. Currently employed at Fairport School District administrative staff. Theatre instructor for local organizations. Extensive experience as artistic director and technical director for numerous productions. Fifth year judge for SOT program.

Julie Overbeck. Medical Technologist, Highland Hospital. Extensive choreography experience with Webster Theatre Guild, Fairport High School, Honeoye Falls-Lima High School and many more. Performed with Webster Theatre Guild and Brighton Theatre Guild. M.S., Secondary Education; B.S. Medical Technology. Performed with Black Friars, choreographer for Victor High School , and has been involved with many other area productions.Tenth year judge with SOT program.

David Peck. B.S. SUNY at Geneseo, Elementary Education and Fine Arts, M.S. Nazareth College, Reading. Currently advisor and director for Livonia High School Dramatic Program. Has performed in and directed numerous productions for Geneseo Community Players, as well as other local community theatre groups. Has been a presenter for Dramatic Workshops presented by BOCES. Fifth year judge for SOT program.

Jane Petti. Executive Director and founder of the Dance Centre of Performing Arts is known as a leading dance teacher and choreographer. Has directed and choreographed numerous musicals, ballets, and award winning routines. Her extensive training has also lead her to study with many professional dancers and teachers from across the country. Certified by and a member of Dance Masters of America. She is the founder of Artistry in Motion Ltd. Dance Company and the Hornell City Ballet. Third year judge for SOT program.

Judith Porray. Retired high school English teacher from Wayne Central School District. Extensive training in piano, flute, theory and music history at Eastman School of Music. Performed in many productions in lead and secondary roles for community theater. Former board member of the Neighborhood Acting Company. Served for over ten years as costume coordinator for community and high school musicals. BA in Theology with majors in Secondary Education and English from Berkshire Christian College. Graduate work at both SUNY Brockport and Geneseo. Drama Club advisor and director of musicals at Wayne Central High School. Extensive performances on flute and voice for radio and benefit concerts/programs. First year judge for SOT program.

Pam Rapoza. Geneva, has spent most of her life performing, studying and directing theatre. She attended SUNY Fredonia and studied Education and Theatre. She currently is a roving adjudicator for the Theatre Association of New York State and has been seen in over 75 productions in central New York. She is a TANYS award winning director and actor and has directed numerous shows, mostly musicals, as well as choreographed and served as makeup or set designer. At the 2003 Festival, Pam received a Performance Award from Festival Adjudicator Annette Procunier and a Festival Favorite Award from the Festival attendees in both 2003 and 2007. By day Pam is an Assistant Principal at Dundee Elementary School. Second year judge for SOT program.

Elaine Sauer. B.S. in Biotechnology, Rochester Institute of Technology. My love of theatre started in 1984 as a Tech Intern for the University of Rochester's Summer Theatre Program where I obtained a background in all technical aspects of theatre. Have stage managed numerous productions for over 20 years with local groups: Rochester Community Players, Irondequoit Theatre Guild, Rochester Children's Theatre, Shakespeare at Highland Park Bowl, Webster Theatre Guild, Pittsford Musicals, and the JCC. Co-produced and stage managed a production of All My Sons performed at Geva's Rochester TheatreFest, January 2008. Seven year judge for SOT program.

Deborah Schmitt. Medical Office Manager. Professional Hammond B-3 organist. Singer in duo, Back to Back with husband Jim. Composer, lyricist, and writer. Co-wrote and produced two cantatas and four original full-length musicals including the Three Musketeers and Gettysburg. Choral director for church choir and music ministry at churches and conventions. Extensive experience as stage manager, production manager, technical work, and has appeared onstage in numerous productions. Recipient of the 2004 Genesee Orleans Regional Arts Council Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts in the community. Third year judge for SOT program.

James Schmitt. Evangel University. Minister of Music/Youth Minister Pastor/Ministerial License. Singer in professional music duo Back to Back with wife Debbie. Master of the twin keyboards and vocals with a repertoire of over 400 songs, from Broadway to standards to top 40. Music Director/Accompanist/Performer at Downstairs Cabaret. Accompanist for Geva Theatre's Comedy Improv and Summer Academy. Music Director for Irondequoit Theatre Guild. Extensive onstage experience and composer and producer of original musicals. Third year judge for SOT program.

Brian Smith. Extensive experience in acting, directing and costume design, over 80 productions, for Off-Monroe Players, Geneseo Community Players, Livonia Community Players, SUNY Geneseo Vocal Miscellany. Curriculum Leader for Libraries K-12 and Librarian at Eastridge High School, EICSD. BA in Theatre Arts and Education, MLS - SUNY Geneseo. Ninth year judge for SOT program

Jeffrey Smith. Senior software engineer at Kodak. B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Clarkson University. Extensive experience as Technical Director, Set Designer, Stage Manager and Artistic Director for local theater groups and high schools. Has performed with many local community theatre groups. Fifth year judge for SOT program.

Paula Steffen. Received a B.S. in Business Management from Brockport State University. She has extensive experience in choreography having worked with local high schools, middle schools and community theater groups such as Webster Theatre Guild and Neighborhood Acting Company. She has choreographed and performed in over 30 productions. First year SOT judge.

Sandra Szymanski. Vocal music teacher, Livonia Central School District (retired). More than 30 years experience as director, choreographer for high school productions, and performer in regional theatres. Recipient, U of R Teacher of the Year (Secondary Education) and Distinguished Teacher Award. BS and MM in Music Education. Seventh year judge for SOT program

Danielle Teeple. Musical Theatre and English degrees from Wagner College and Nazareth College. A certified Theatre Arts and English teacher. Reno Sweeny in Anything Goes, Dolly in Hello Dolly,Ado Annie in OKLAHOMA, Narrator in "Joseph …Dreamcoat", Eponine in Les Mis and Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar. Directed and choreographed numerous productions. A Presidential Scholar in Theatre, Danielle is trained in not only classical acting and directing, but stage make-up design, set design, special effects for the stage and choreography. Danielle, with training from Sylvia Hummel of the Julliard School, is also a private instructor in voice. First year SOT judge.

Holly Valentine is currently a fourth grade teacher at the Walt Disney Elementary School in Gates Chili. Prior to teaching, Holly worked in Stage Management and Company Management at Geva Theatre, New American Theatre, and the Hilberry Theatre. She earned her BA in Theatre Arts and her MS in Elementary Education from Nazareth College. First year judge for SOT.
